This game should not be confused with Coloretto, another game of the same name published in 1993.

Draw a card to play to a row, or take a row -- it's that easy! You score points for collecting cards of the same color.

This game also contains a kind of "unofficial" Expansion Set for Knights (same publisher, same author). Depending on the edition you purchased, you received 1, 8, or as many as 23 "Creepy Castle" cards. The Abacus Spiele 2006 release includes the 2 player variant cards and doesn't include the Creepy Castle cards.

The name for the game was subject of a competition -- the winner was Sebastian Herzog, member of the "Spuiratzn" gaming group, Munich.

The small-boxed Rio Grande version doesn't contain the official 2 player rules and green row cards. This is a clean, vector PDF alternative to the card scans uploaded to the 'Coloretto for two players' gallery. Just print and play. There's no need to cut out the cards -- I'm sure you can remember who's taken a row in a 2 player game!
