Description Edit | History

X610Z® is the first trading card game that is combined with a game board. This Trading Card Board Game can be played by 2 to 6 players: Individual Player (1 vs 1), Multiplayer (more than 2 players playing individually) and TeamPlayer, with teams of 3 vs 3 players (or 2 vs 2 and 2 vs 2 vs 2). Teams can form a Clan with max 3 Crews of 3 players. The Organized Play System is in development, tournaments and support will be offered soon for 1 vs 1 tournaments and TeamPlayer tournaments.

The Story:
ACT I The New Era: Due to dareful experiments, an extremely powerful EMP has destroyed all technology. During a nanosecond all matter falls apart and reforms again. This causes a DNA shuffle, transforming all life on earth to an entire new concept. This moment is called "Chaos". 333 years after "Chaos" an unknown object crashes in the center of the new earth and all players have to escape with his Life Base to a safe place.
ACT II Spoils of War: Pirates, Red Barbarians, Mercenaries and other "Frees" united in what they call 'The Great Alliance'. Lad by the five Elementals, they march against Arnunnia in an attempt to force them to share their knowlegde about technology and mystical powers. Kixxii, the air Elemental, betrays both battling parties, by introducing a new form of Energy. This devastating Energy will wipe out most of all living creatures and a large form of undead souls is formed.

The Game:
There are 3 ways to win the game:
- By finishing first in playing your Life Base Summon to one of the end dots of the game board
- By destroying an other player's Life Base.
- An opponent can't draw a card from his or her deck.

The Life Base can be attacked / supported by different Summon Classes (creatures). All Summons are represented with a pawn that you move across the game board.
In ACT I there are 3 Non Life Base Summon Classes: Dragons, Beasts and Vessels.
In ACT II Army and Berserkers are added as new Summon Classesto the game. Also in ACT II new Summons for each Class are introduced, including a new Life Base.

All effects, power-ups and Summons are managed by using cards. These cards can be activated by using different types of energy. Several game tactics are embedded in the game.

Game development:
Publisher Quantuum Magic introduces 2-3 sets each year, that contain 89-135 cards per set. Currently ACT III is in development en is being tested in public testplays. Some new artwork is already shown as sneak peeks on http://www.x610z.com (Fan Art in the forums). Looking good! Also you can find some concepts and new artwork here in the picture gallery.
Basic Game Rules and Comprehensive Game Rules can be downloaded from the website (section: "Rules").

April 2011: ACT III SoulRage is being playtested at the moment. Hot news is that we decided to publish X610Z The Board Game ("On the ruins of Chaos") with 4 preconstructed decks. We got a lot of questions about this, since many players dislike collectible card games, but do love the concept of a CCG played on a game board.
Some new artwork can be viewed in the pic folder here, but also on our website: http://bit.ly/hRoHgD
