Seeland (2010)

Seeland plays in the golden era of the Netherlands (17. Jh.). In this time the province Seeland (Zeeland) gains ever more power, prosperity and significance. Object of the game is to expand and extract more land surface from the sea. Players live as a respected buyer in this time and take part in the land reclamation.

Seeland takes place in the Dutch Golden Era and comes with a beautiful board showing windmills and dikes in a green countryside. As a courageous merchant in the province of Seeland you try to reclaim new land. Therefor you build gorgeous windmills to dewater dikes and create new land. In Seeland you will have to buy wood and seeds and calculate the best crop.
There are 4 rules you can play the game:

1. basic game: quick rules, fast to learn and play
2. basic game and add-on: for advanced players
3. tactical game: played at the backside of the boardgame. The portion of luck is just 20%.
4. advanced tactical game: in addition to the tactical game markers are placed concealed so it’s more difficult.
