Scrabble Card Game (1997)

A simple conversion of Scrabble, with cards instead of tiles. Keep 7 cards in your hand, then put the cards down forming words and disposing them in a crosswords style. Double and triple scoring is given by 10 special cards.

There are a few category cards in the game which can be misleading. The main two of these are the "all letters worth one point" and "3 or more vowels". If misinterpreted it may look like the player would get to add on 7 points per letter, however this is not the case. The card itself is stating what the player needs in order to receive the bonus. This would mean if a player played a word such as "strainer" and then played that category card they would receive 15 points in total and not 64 as it would have been misinterpreted as. The same is for the 3 or more vowels card.
