This game, with its really wonderful plastic bits, is about building a city. Players acquire cards in eight different 'neighborhoods' and then use them to lay out buildings either one, two, or three spaces large. The points they receive for a given building is a base score plus bonuses for the buildings surrounding it. What makes this game really unique is the city hall. Some player must play it (scoring no points for himself) in order for anyone to start placing any structure beyond the simple residences and business.

Big City would be #2 in the Valley Games Classic Line. It is currently in pre-production / pre-order.

Big City Lego version

This is a Lego Designer 2.0 model file for Big City - Lego version. Streets are 2 posts wide, same as the size 1 building. You will need to number the blocks using a sharpie or something. Using this model you can actually order a custom kit from the Lego website. You will need Lego Designer 2.0 to view. Each plate has a 1-post wide border that serves as 1/2 a road. (available for free at http://ldd.lego.com/)
