Belgium 1831 (2010)

Belgium 1831 is a political and social-economic influence board game set in the troubled Kingdom of Belgium after their Independence Revolution in 1830.

During the game, players will represent the growing Belgian bourgeoisie and they'll industrialize the Belgian provinces, buying materials to build factories to obtain greater economic power, will vote in the National Congress seeking to increase their political influence, will expand its social mass and will send, to the provinces under their dominion, at the highest authority, King Leopold I of Belgium, to revise the provinces in the pursuit of their own interests.

Durante el juego, los jugadores representarán a la creciente burguesía, industrializando las provincias belgas, comprando materiales para construir fábricas y así obtener el mayor poder económico, votando en el Congreso Nacional buscando incrementar su influencia política, expandiendo su masa social y enviando a la máxima autoridad, el Rey Leopoldo I de Bélgica, a revisar las provincias bajo su dominio en pos de sus propios intereses.

 1 white pawn, representing King Leopold I.
 3 pawns (black, yellow and red), representing players.
 30 Belgian coins.
 15 factories (5 representing metallurgical factories and 5 representing textile factories, in each player color).
 20 wood cubes, representing construction materials (10 grey for bricks and 10 brown for wood).
 27 white wood cubes for marking Belgian provinces scored.
 63 wood cubes, representing Belgian citizens (21 cubes in each players color).

For an advanced game these components can also be used:

 1 violet pawn, representing Pope Gregory XVI.
 1 Pope game starting tile.
 9 Royal Honours cards, representing Belgian provinces.
 10 factories (5 blue representing metallurgical factories and 5 green representing textile factories).
