Strike on Sarhu 1619 (決戰薩爾滸1619) is a two-player board wargame that simulates the Battle of Sarhu, March 1 to March 5, 1619. Each turn represents one day and each hex is about 10 km across. One player commands the Later Jin (後金) Eight Banners (八旗) and the other player commands the Ming (明) matchlocks and cannons. This is a decisive battle near the Sarhu Mountain Pass in Chinese history and sets an important foundation of the future Qing Dynasty.
It is the third wargame designing by Formosa Force Games in 2010 and it will be published by Zhi Bing Tang (知兵堂) in "Board Wargame"(戰棋)magazine #3 in Aug.
