Description Edit | History

The object of the game is to have the highest score by counting as many chicken cards as possible without turning over a wolf card.
On your turn, count chickens by turning over cards one at a time from the top of the face down deck into a discard pile. Count out loud as you turn over cards. As long as you keep turning over chickens, you may stop at any time and collect the points you counted. If you say stop you keep the points. But if you turn over a wolf you will loose all your points. Bad luck!
There a 5 optional ways to play the game included in the rules.

More Information Edit | History

Fowl Play is a card game variant of the folk jeopardy dice game Pig. On a turn, chicken cards are drawn until the player (1) holds and scores the number of chickens drawn that turn, or (2) draws a wolf card and scores nothing that turn. (Previously scored points are not lost when a wolf is drawn.) The first player to reach a given goal score wins.
