Starvation Island is a re-implementation of The Decisive Battle Guadalcanal which appeared in Japanese Hobby Magazine Game Journal back in 2001. This time around it's a magazine game. One of the major changes from the Japanese edition is that instead of a hex based map, you now have an area based map, and the rules are in English as opposed to Japanese.

A game on the Guadalcanal battles in Operations Special Magazine #3 by Multi-Man Publishing.

Starvation Island - Damage and Phase Summary

I developed this aid to help keep track of the games myriad of phases along with "to hit" die rolls and other essential details. Rev 03.08.2011 fixes two grammatical errors and an omission regarding damage from torpedoes. Enjoy!

At Sea Sidebar Player Aid rev 08.19.2010

We have found this player aid helpful in tracking units "At Sea" as well as those disabled and sunk. The Aid includes a Turn Phase Summary and divides each player's "At Sea" box into areas for Naval forces that are "Offshore" (able to bombard, land on, and resupply Guadalcanal) and those "In Transit" to the Island as well has areas for enemy submarine and land based aircraft units.
