Description Edit | History

[from a session report]

The game is basically a miniatures game, but based on H.P. Lovecraft's Cthulhu Mythos.

Each player has a "family" of misfits who are seeking to locate the legendary Necromonicon and bring it safely to
their lair. Of course, to do this, they must do battle with the other families, attempting to slaughter them before they can find the treasured book. Yep ... it's mass carnage.

Move, invoke special powers and battle. That's about it. Thankfully, the board is small, so you encounter your opponents by the second turn and from then on, it is a constant series of battles and deaths. That means dice rolling ... LOTS of it. Since each character has a special power, quite a bit of time is spent reading the player charts to discover what each character's powers are and how to use them.

1 Tile Grid Overlay
This is a grid that can be super-imposed over the map tiles in an image editor for converting the game to grid-based movement. I slightly enlarged the map tiles to 6.75" (from 6.375") and the grid squares are 3/4" to match the figure bases. This image file is 6.75" x 6.75" (2700 x 2700 pixels) at 400 dpi.

5 Tiles and Token
You'll find two new tiles to build up your board in this file. One of them if the Home tile for the new clan "The Coven of Keziah" and the other is a cemetery (I found it usefull to have one extra tile for the game where you play variant scenario in witch you do not use the Mansion tile). I also include nice color token to keep track of the effects of some brutal dammage (ex: -1 to melee, -50% movement, etc). Hope you enjoy!

3 The Coven of Keziah
Try this new clan inspired by the story: The Witch House, by Lovecraft. I've created everything you need to play this new Hillbillies familly: clan cards, characters tokens and dead tokens, Slam Stun and Unk token (hats) and finally a token for their Flag. Everything is in color. Just print, play and enjoy!

3 Color Clan Card (faction sheet)
Nice color cards for the 4 differents clans of the game. They are much more fun to use and gives the game a much nicer look. Use token to keep track of your characters Life and Ammo. The blood spot beside Characters Condition is where you'll place Stun, Slam or Unk token (hats). I also include a new color flag token for each faction and a token for the Necronomicon and the Great Whateley Seal. Hope you enjoy.

3 Great Old Ones
An addition for the game: Great Old Ones! They are use in some of the variant scenario of the game (you can find these scenarios in the Geek Files). This find contains color cards (including all the special rules to play them) and character tokens for 4 Old Ones: Bugg-Shash, Cthulhu, CyƤegha and Shudde M'ell. Hope you enjoy.
