Fury in the East is a wargame on the first nine months of the great Russo-German War (per MMP). The game is designed by accomplished Japanese designer, Ginichiro Suzuki and originally appeared as G-Barbarossa.

Fury in the East includes 262 counters and a 22"x34" map (56cm x 86cm) and is included in Operations Special Magazine #3.

The game features an unusual mechanism for the Soviet combat units and generals. When generals are involved in combat for the first time their counters are flipped and their true capabilities revealed. When combat units suffer a step loss, their previously unknown weakened capability is revealed.

Sequence of Play Summary

We like to have a sequence of play on map ... and Fury doesn't. So I made this color coded, indented sequence of play to print out and tuck under the old plexi. When turn order changes on turn 7, flip it over and voila, the turn sequence is updated. Print this file on opposite sides of the same page, and trim to about 3.5x5 inches (95x130mm). We tend to slip it right over the black sea portion of the map between Odessa and Sevastopol. Enjoy the game! Rev 2 - adds the Axis Placement of Air Supply
