A solitaire game of the amphibious assault on Betio Island by the U.S. 2nd Marine Division on November 20, 1943. Published as a magazine game in Strategy & Tactics issue #142, May 1991.
A complete redraft of the rules, incorporating all official errata and clarifications (and some unofficial clarifications), set out in turn-sequence order.
Modified charts incorporating all errata, and a hi-res redrawn counter set (the revised counter set posted previously on BGG itself contained a dozen errors).
Note: the rules here are oly for oslitaire play. I have not redrafted the two-player rules.
When playing it is difficult to identify which of which regiment are part the companies of USMC, so I followed the advice of inserting a color identifier for each regiment and to position to identify each battalion of the regiment. All the units counters are double face and need mounting on heavy cardboard.
The PDF is produced to be printed on paper in A4 format, in case you need a different sizing, let me know and I will see to produce it.
Since I had space left I created some more markers, with purpose given colors, to ease playing.
