Expansion and Additional House Rules

Rules cover rolling for interception and withdrawal effectiveness, and the possibility of a "maneuver" battle to cover the movement. They're essentially chrome on top of the existing rules to make this aspect more engaging.

Just some rules I made to increase the historical feel. The game is fine as is.

The concepts underlying this game can be difficult to assimilate and rules formats that attempt to cover every possibility are list-like and tediously difficult to read. These rules are written in fluent prose explaining how the game works, how to play and what happens in each phase. Hopefully they will contribute to making AofN more accessible and playable. No attempt has been made to comprehensively cover every scenario but the intention is these should be used as the main rules in conjunction with the official V2 rules as a reference document for exceptions. Updated with minor wording improvements and rule fix as per Coffeebikes correct summation that I had used the draft v2 rules rather than the final v2 rules in originally writing this doc.

It concerns the new AoN rules v2. Concise and aimed to be fairly complete. With clickable table of contents. Version 5 corrects a few spelling errors.

[Update 2.6.2010: Stein and Radetzky texts were mixed up!] Only german edition: After updating your cards with these stickers and following the instuctions at the bottom left, you have a complete 2nd edition compatible card set. All texts are in german.

A Word Doc that contains reminders for hard to remember special situations/rules in Age of Napoleon, but in the context of including much of the rules (beyond the basics) in bullet points for context - and to give it autonomy. Document also reflects many of the rules questions recently answered in the forum.
