Hexabrae is an abstract strategic game in which players try to enclose a part of the gameboard with their playing pieces. The first player that is able to make an enclosure using more of his/her own playing pieces than opponent pieces, wins the game.

Playing pieces can have 1 of 3 possibile orientations. The orientation of a piece dictates in which directions it can move. Besides moving it is also possible to change the orientation of pieces during play.
