The game is intended for casual gamers and families. The rules are not complex.
Gameplay / Tension / Complexity:
At the beginning of the game, players have free choice in the colonization of the planet and will visit the ones nearby. As the game progresses, players meet each other with their spaceships or on the planet and there are first fights. Toward the end, the players then try to deliberately harm the other players and take over their colonies.

In this little game conflict is in the foreground.
Core Elements / Mechanisms:
The die is an essential element of the game here. It controls actions and events. This is overlaid by a poker-like aspect before rolling the dice, in which players are betting on a result and will be possibly be rewarded accordingly with additional options.
Strategy & Luck:
The random aspect is prevalent with the dice results which is an intentional part of the game.
Look and Feel:
AstroNuts uses pawns from the game "Nautilus" (Kosmos), as a modern form of recycling here. They are a perfect to the theme though.
