Description

[Edit] [History]

The objective of this game is to collect as much gold as possible while traveling a set path. Each player starts with 3 gold and collects more from various spaces along the path. Additional gold is awarded half-way through the game (when the first player reaches Kantschou) and at the end (when Daidu is reached). The player reaching a scoring location first receives 6 gold, anyone in the next space receives 5 gold, and so on down to 1 gold. After the first scoring round all players are moved ahead to Kantschou.

Each turn players may move several times. To move one space costs 1 gold.

It is also possible to leap-frog several spaces occupied by other players by playing the required cards on the first empty space immediately following where other players are.

At the end of each turn the active player draws one of five face-up cards or a random card from the draw pile.
