Jean Auguste Dominique Ingres (August 29, 1780 - January 14, 1867) was a French Neoclassical painter.
His painting Joan at the Coronation of Charles VII was used as part of the cover art for the board game Warriors of God. His 1819 painting Roger Freeing Angelica, now displayed at the Louvre museum, is featured on the cover of both editions of the Orlando Furioso role-playing game.
