Brian Michael Bendis (born August 18, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio) is an American comic book writer and artist. He is best known as a writer and was hired by Marvel Comics President Bill Jemas Ultimate Spider-Man.

The most prolific artist in Champions of the Galaxy history is Brian Michael Bendis. Brian began working with Tom in 1993 and contributed game drawings until 2000. Brian has drawn over 170 GWF playing cards including 13 game editions, and many covers for GWF Promoter newsletter. After his stint with Champions of the Galaxy Brian went on to great success in the comic book industry with Marvel Comics. He is a very popular writer working on several key titles such as Ultimate Spiderman.
