Emanuel Gottlieb Leutze (May 24, 1816 - July 18, 1868) was a German-American painter known for his painting Washington Crossing the Delaware which has been used as artwork for a few games.

Born in Schwäbisch Gmünd, Württemberg, he also painted Washington Rallying the Troops at Monmouth. A version of this artwork was used as game cover artwork for the game The Battle of Monmouth: The Colonies take the Offensive - June 28, 1778 and The Battle of Monmouth.
