Thure de Thulstrup (April 5, 1848 - June 9, 1930) was a Stockholm-born American artist who was the son of Sweden's Secretary of the Navy. Thulstrup served in the Swedish military as an artillery officer and in the French Foreign Legion where he fought in the Franco-Prussian War.
After traveling to Canada to become a civil engineer, he moved to New York to become an artist for Harper's Monthly, Scribner's magazine, and similar publications. One of his publishers called him "the foremost military artist in America".
