Roy H. Andersen (born 1930 in Temple, New Hampshire) is an artist from Arizona who is known for his paintings of the American West. He previously worked as an illustrator in Chicago and New York. He has completed numerous covers for Time magazine including portraits of Albert Einstein and Prince Fahd and illustrations for National Geographic and Sports Illustrated magazines.
His portrait The Battle of Glorieta Pass was used as the cover artwork for the game Civil War in the Far West: The New Mexico Campaign, 1862.
