Carl Röchling (May 21, 1855 - May 6, 1920) was a German artist known for painting military and historical events and themes, especially paintings of the Prussian army during the Franco-Prussian War. He also illustrating at least two popular children's books.
Born in Saarbrücken, he studied at the Karlsruhe Academy of Arts and the Academy of Arts of Berlin. He was a pupil of master painter Anton von Werner with whom he participated in the creation of various panoramic paintings. Together with Georg Koch and Eugen Bracht, he painted a panorama of the Battle of Chattanooga.
