Hans Hofmann (March 21, 1880 - February 17, 1966) was a German-born American abstract expressionist painter. He was born in Weißenburg, Bavaria, and immigrated to the United States in 1932.

His painting The Golden Wall has been used as one of the art pieces in versions of the classic board game Masterpiece.
