Martin Johnson Heade (August 11, 1819 - September 4, 1904) was a prolific American artist known for his paintings of landscapes and seascapes and portraits of tropical birds and still lifes.

His painting Magnolias has been used as one of the art pieces in versions of the classic board game Masterpiece.
