Naoki Saito began illustrating Duel Masters cards for Wizards of the Coast during production of the Base Set, for which Nakoi illustrated Holy Awe, "Iocant, the Oracle," Revolver Fish, Ruby Grass, Saucer-Head Shark, and Super Explosive Volcanodon.
