Even though I live in Belgium, I grew up playing conflict and diplomacy games much more than 'german' or 'euro' games. My influences are Games Workshop, Ludodelire, and Avalon Hill much more than Hans im gluck or Ravensburger.
I am in the process of creating a games publishing company, flatlined games. The editorial line will focus on complex games for grown-ups, involving exploration, management, diplomacy and of course combat. Themes will also be more SF and fantasy than historical or realist.
I also design smaller games, such as fangs and swords which I co-designed with Belgian fellow Frederic Moyersoen. Such games won't be published by flatlined games, but rather pitched to other publishers, according to their editorial lines.
