Ken Whitman has been designing games since he was a child, his first game was released in 1989.
Ken played college football for Murray State University and majored in Graphic Design. He offered a job at TSR, Inc. – the makers of Dungeons and Dragons and took the job of Convention Coordinator.
His main job was to run a 35K person convention called GEN CON but also coordinated our employees attending 100 smaller conventions during the year.
After a few years, The company was bought out and I had begun my career as a game designer and company president of Dynasty Presentations.
I returned to Kentucky in 2001 to work for world famous fantasy artist Larry Elmore. As project manager we produced various art books, posters, products and attended many conventions as guests of honor.
As fun as it was, but in 2003 Ken started up a small print shop where I worked with companies to print short run books, fliers, ads, etc. In 2008 he sold the company to pursue sales and promotions.
As of today Ken has designer, created, manufactured and distributed over 100 games and game related products. He recently started Ken Whitman Games, and is working for Sidekickprinting.com as a booksmith , and for Wammercollection.com as a game consultant and importer.
