Erik Yaple is a game designer who works for Privateer Press. In 2008, he took over the design for Monsterpocalypse. He essentially got into the business at age 17 by helping game designer Dan Verssen do some play-testing of some of his games. He has also contributed to the games Down in Flames and Legend of the Five Rings. He worked at Sabertooth Games helping to develop the Warhammer 40,000 collectible card games until Sabertooth Games was dissolved by Games Workshop Ltd..
