Graduate of the University of Tennessee, Knoxville BA in Creative Writing 1986
Married with three kids (two girls and a boy).
Started playing wargames with Avalon Hill's Gettysburg, the one with squares, in the mid 1970s.
Prefers tactical gaming, did Squad Leader and Minis for many years then branched out.
First Design: This Accursed Civil War DTP (Self Published). That design was picked up by GMT changed a couple battles, spiffy graphics and a rules revamp.
Serves in the United States Marine Corps as an Infantry Officer on active duty 1987 - 1991 and 2007 to present, including combat action in the Desert Storm in an armored reconnaissance battalion. Mobilized from the Reserves for Operation Iraqi Freedom as an Advisor, and Operation Enduring Freedom in a armored vehicle maintenance role.
