Stephen A. Donaldson

Stephen A. Donaldson, also known as Robert Anthony Martin, Jr. and Donny the Punk, (July 27, 1946 - July 18, 1996) was an American game designer and political activist who was also the developer of SPI games such as Caporetto, 1917 and MechWar 2 with includes MechWar 2: Red Star / White Star and MechWar 2: Suez to Golan. Born in Norfolk, Virginia, Donaldson also worked as a congressional intern, a sailor, and a journalist. He was a major figure in the gay rights movement as well as for prison reform, and an early chronicler of punk rock.
