Richard Vickery is a game designer, game reviewer, and teacher from Australia who created the triangle-based board game Nibelungenlied which was named after an epic poem written in Germany around 1200 AD. He was president of the Sydney University Games Club, SUTekh, and has reviewed games for several magazines.

Vickery teaches in the field of medical science and brain function.
