Mark Chaplin (b. 1971) was born in Portsmouth, England, and has since lived all over the country - now residing in Nottingham.
An avid player of Dungeons & Dragons, and Tunnels & Trolls, he developed his first boardgame at the age of eleven, based on Daleks – Invasion Earth: 2150 A.D.
He is the designer of the award-winning card game based on John Carpenter's The Thing, but is perhaps best known as the creator of the Wild West card game Revolver, and the alien invasion game Invaders. His latest is a sci-fi survival horror game: Lifeform.
Mark actively works as a game designer, miniature painter, and as a model maker.
