Nobuaki Takerube is a Japanese Game designer, translator, and writer of myth, legend and folklore.
He is the director, writer and main designer of RPG Tokyo NOVA (1st Edition) and Tokyo NOVA (2nd Edition).
He also translated many Foreign boardgames to Japanese.
His most famous achievement of translation is The Settlers of Catan which is the oldest official Japanese edition published by Trysoft.
He is a fan of Japanese traditional card games and showing how to play them as a past time.
He is now trying to bring good Japanese board games to the world, so he instituted a group called Japon Brand. He shows many Japanese board game designers and introduces their games at Essen Spiel.
