Michael Dorosh has been published on the history of tactical wargames in general, and on ASL in particular.
His article "Warriors of the North", an analysis of the portrayal of Canadian forces in Advanced Squad Leader, appeared in ASL Annual '93b.
Michael designed several scenarios which were published on the initial release of Combat Mission: Shock Force, including a number that comprised between 15 and 20% of the Task Force: Thunder campaign.
He has also had scenarios published on the Combat Mission: Barbarossa to Berlin and Combat Mission: Afrika Korps Special Edition releases.
His book Scenario Designer's Handbook has reached the number 9 spot on the lulu.com all-time "games" category bestsellers list as of November 2011. The book was designed both as a how-to for beginner ASL scenario designers, and as a reference guide to World War II infantry and armour forces, as well as ASL system components, for experienced scenario designers.
Michael Dorosh is the webmaster of tacticalwargamer.com and canadiansoldiers.com which are intended as reference sites for those interested in tactical wargames depicting ground combat in the 20th and 21st centuries, and information regarding the Canadian Army in that period, respectively.
