Gilbert Obermair (1934 - December 8, 2002) was an Austrian game designer and writer. Born in Salzkammergut, Austria, he is probably best known for the card game Black Vienna. His game Quibbixwas on the Spiel des Jahres 1981 recommended games list.

He died in 2002 in Munich, Germany.
