Eric is a new board game designer also known as "the shadow", "Larienna" or "Eric P626". His geek user name is Larienna and he publish games under the "Larienna's library" company name.
In real life, he is a library technician and ex-computer programmer so he works in libraries for living.
He made various video game attempts in the past like making an open source Wizardry video game and Megaman dueling game. He even tried making a space strategy computer game that might eventually be released as a board game.
In 2005, he joined the board game designer's forum and started to get in more seriously into board game design. In 2006, he joined the concordia board game club and now got a chance to play much more euro games than before.
He published his first game, "Fallen Kingdoms" in 2010. He has a lot of projects ideas in his mind and he hopes to be able to publish most of these ideas. The biggest project is to make a board game version of the "Master of magic" video game.
Eric is also doing a lot of variants, in fact he changes so many games that some people get offended. He likes promoting the idea that "Board games are made to be modified". Each player should adapt the game to his taste.
