Wolfgang Dirscherl was born 1974 in Regensburg (Germany). Once his playful school days were over he completed training as a banker before studying business economics. Since 2003 he has worked in his dream job as games' editor for HABA. Apart from this game, he already has designed many other games for HABA, for example The Garlic Vampires, Wild Vikings, Fiery Dragons as well as the educational games Pirates' ABC and Geometry Pirates. Wolfgang Dirscherl lives with his wife Sybille and with his son Simon in Coburg.
