Didier Rouy, MD, PhD (c. 1961) is a wargame designer, scientist, and medical doctor who has lived in Redwood City, California. He is the former director of the publication Journal du Stratege and author of the five Vive l'Empereur! series boardgames: Auerstaedt, Hanau, Friedland, Eckmuhl and Austerlitz. Rouy was the first President of the Cercle de Strategie, a club gathering wargamers from all over France. He has in California a group of old players who enjoy his campaign games, as they generate great battles on the table.
When he is not creating or publishing games, he is vice president of Clinical and Research in a cardiovascular biotech company in California.
