Nicholas (Nicky) Palmer (1950 - ).

As well as writing books on wargames, Nick Palmer was a founding editor of the independent gamers magazine Flagship Magazine.

He was elected a member of the UK Parliament in 1997 as MP for Broxtowe.

Contests that he has won at the World Boardgaming Championships include his victory in Diplomacy in 2007.
