Beverly Dennis Sustare (born January 29, 1940) is a game designer from Austin, Texas. He co-designed the Watership Down novel-inspired role-playing game Bunnies & Burrows which was published in 1976, only two years after the first role-playing game Dungeons & Dragons was published. He has been a designer for Penguin Products and a principal video game designer for Coleco. He has also previously worked for BAE Systems, a British defence and aerospace company, for 20 years and served in the US Navy.
In 1976, he obtained a PhD in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
