Brought up playing games, Sebastian Bleasdale rediscovered them in his teenage years in the forms of The Settlers of Catan and Tigris & Euphrates. A follow up purchase of Simply Cosmic resulted in his first exploration of games design, as he attempted (and failed) to adapt it to suit his tastes.
Upon graduation from Cambridge, work led him to Windsor, where he met and started playtesting for Reiner Knizia. Here, he learnt the long path most games take before they become suitable for publication, gaining credits in games such as Keltis, FITS, Whoowasit? and The Hobbit. He continues to work with Reiner Knizia, and is now starting to make a mark with games he has designed himself.
