Perry Grant (January 26, 1924 - December 12, 2004) was a game designer and sit-com writer who created the game Smess: The Ninny's Chess. In 1970, the game was published Parker Brothers. He was a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles and served in Pacific as a U.S. Navy officer during World War II.
