I became a gamer when I was 9 and my father introduced me to D&D. Since then I've played many games from a versatile range of interests. Being kind of a renaissance man, private school educated, competant in a variety of living and dead languages, games have always been an engaging and sometimes silly, or intellectual way of relaxing. Mixing personal interests in fencing, acting and travelling with professional work in music (www.damanta.com) and writing (www.elegwen.com), a driving desire has been to simply experience life in a playful way, and live my life as an ever-changing adventure.
My career experience outside writing and music is from Los Angeles, Seattle and Vancouver, where I worked in marketing and advertising. Formal education was done at a couple small colleges prior to graduate studies in psychoanalysis, philosophical theology and semiotics, recognized by a Masters in Divinity (MDiv). The same degree awarded to priests.
Elegwen moved back to Vancouver from Ireland in 2006 to join the creative and executive team of Golden Laurel.
