Vlaada Chvatil is a Czech game designer whose games are often on the border between thematic games and euros.
He is known for his unique style of rulebook writing that is both praised and criticised by different people. The rulebooks are often divided into several "learning scenarios", each adding some more rules until reaching the full game. The rulebooks also often use humour as a method of explainaition.
