Margaret Edith Weis (born March 16, 1948 in Independence, Missouri) is a game designer and fantasy novelist who is one of the original co-creators of the Dragonlance game world. In 1999, Pyramid magazine named her as one of the millennium's most influential persons. In 2002, she was inducted into the Origins Hall of Fame. She was previously married to fellow game designer Don Perrin.
