Scott Nelson

Scott Nelson along with his wife Anna have designed boardgames since 2003. Anna does a lot of the playtesting before it goes to the FLGS patrons who trash the prototype to pieces or not. Gamenight was the first game that was added to the BGG. Soon to follow was Diver Down, Food Fight!, Lifeguard on Duty, Penguin Panic, Damsels in Distress, and Tribute and Taxes; More to be added in the future. Scott has been in the straightedge scene since 1987 and continues with the same ideals (even though some idiots are screwing up a good thing). In his free time, Scott rides his bike, a semi-professional bmx flatland freestyler at one time, now just enjoys trying new tricks for the sake of advancing in a field that has clearly blown him away compared to when he was one of the best, keeping up with the latest tricks, and creating some of his own. Scott enjoys playing boardgames, but is not very good at playing them enough to win, even his own designs...and he's always willing to admit that. He is a member of the Boardgame Designers Guild of Utah, though he has to drive 200 miles to go to guild meetings to playtest in Salt Lake City. February 2010 Food Fight! was published by TOG Entertainment, with full release in October 2010.
