Description Edit | History

Satish Pillalamarri (2/4/1978) joined Dominic Crapuchettes in starting North Star Games directly out of business school.

Satish's introduction to game design was working with Dominic to tweak some of the rules in Wits & Wagers (such as the starting number of chips and number of questions in a game). Then he took on the monumental task of getting 700 great questions for the original edition of the game.

The game design bug quickly hit Satish as he work-shopped ideas thrown out by his business partner on a daily basis. Soon Satish was working on his own game called Top 5. It was derived from an activity Satish's college friends would play in bars. Someone would come up with a category (like best all-time quarterback), and everyone would discuss what the top 5 things in that category would be.

At the same time, Dominic was working on a version of Wits & Wagers that used subjective questions instead of objective questions. Soon these two game concepts started merging into one. The final result of this collaboration was Say Anything.
