Desert Shield: A Gulf Strike Expansion Module (1990)

This is an expansion to Gulf Strike, also by Victory Games. It was published in 1990, and updates Gulf Strike 2nd Edition with new scenarios, rules, and counters covering the 1st Gulf War. It comes with a 12 page Rule and Scenario booklet (with Saddam Hussain pictured on the cover!) and a countersheet with 260 new counters.

Ownership of Gulf Strike 2nd Edition is required to play the Desert Shield scenarios, as the rules, maps and counters from Gulf Strike 2nd Edition are utilised in the Desert Shield scenarios.

All copies of Gulf Strike 3rd Edition (1990) were published with this module included in the box.

Some later copies of Gulf Strike 2nd edition (1988) were also released with the Desert Shield module included (identified by a black & white label on the cover of the box).
