Battle Hymn: Leatherneck (1988)

The rules, missions, playing pieces, and mapsheets provided in Leatherneck are fully compatible with those components in your Battle Hymn game. This complete four-mission module is designed to test your squad to its utmost. Using the most exciting solitaire system ever devised, it is up to you to lead your men through steaming jungle and across shell-torn beaches - and lead them home again. The stakes are high, the missions dangerous, and the enemy cunning, but your squad has not survived the rigors of Battle Hymn for nothing!

There were a few errors in Leatherneck and Victory Games attempted to correct them by including a page in the Paragraph/Mission Booklet. On page 20 is a Mission Card Corrections sheet, with the following directions:

These corrections should be cut out and pasted or taped to the appropriate Mission Cards, using the large hex letters as a guide for proper alignment. These changes effect:

Mission 12 Condition 4
Mission 12 Condition 5

Also included in the box is a Leatherneck Mission 11: Fields of Fire Condition 2 Replacement card. It includes Japanese movement not found on the original card included in the expansion.

Of note to the player is the fact this card can be overlooked - given the propensity that Victory Games had to place it underneath the flyer and catalog in the bottom of the box.
