Railways of the Western U.S. is an expansion for Railways of the World. Designed by Rick Holzgrafe, this expansion map uses the score track, pieces, tiles, money, trains, bonds and rules of the original game, but comes with a new map, featuring the Western half of the United States. The basic mechanics and gameplay of the original game are unchanged, as players build track and deliver goods to increase their income and earn points, but the expansion also includes new pieces and rules. These extras may optionally be used with this expansion as well as with the base game and all other expansions.
Tuckbox holds all cards so it won't fit in the box for the expansion but I choose to keep all the cards in the main game box anyway.
This is my first tuckbox so I hope it works out for everyone.
Play aid showing the Major Line, Hotel and Service Bounty cities, actions and track prices. Also Build a Fuel Depot action. Upside down version for players who sit on the wrong side of the map. With 6 players 2 players can use this version.
This file contains my first version for a cross country (or coast to coast) game of Railways of the World (i.e. Eastern and Western US maps together). Rules are based on a discussion in the [thread=611766]Western US forum[/thread] (mainly by Jon Getty and me).
